In May 2023, the development of the construction project for the territory of the Vilkmuiža lake was completed in order to make it more friendly to the residents and highlight the two jewels of Talsa, which are their lakes. The construction project created a comfortable and safe swimming area with an open-air active recreation area for residents of different ages. The design includes a floating platform with an outdoor children’s pool, a beach volleyball court, rest areas, gravel walkways, lighting, a video surveillance system and other environmental elements.
The implementation of the project will start in 2024.
